Laysen Valley stands as one of Riyadh’s most vibrant mixed-use destinations, bringing together elegant architecture, modern retail spaces, and a lively outdoor environment. The development combines contemporary building forms with a carefully designed landscape that connects plazas, walkways, and green pockets into one seamless experience. Every corner of the project reflects a blend of style and practicality, from its open-air courtyards to its signature façade treatments. Precision-crafted fit-out work, refined metal elements, and distinctive decorative glass features play a role in shaping the overall character, adding depth and sophistication to this landmark commercial hub.

Project Introduction

Laysen Valley is a mixed-use commercial destination requiring high-specification external works and façade engineering. Ramz Kayan was contracted to deliver the building envelope solutions and comprehensive landscaping package for the surrounding commercial zones. The project focuses on the integration of modern cladding systems with a functional external site plan, connecting retail volumes through structured hardscaping and softscaping.

 

Façade Engineering and Cladding

The core of the structural envelope scope involved the precise installation of exterior finishes.

  • Aluminium Cladding Systems: Fabrication and installation of precision-engineered aluminium composite panels (ACP) and cladding to define the building geometry and provide weather resistance.
  • Structural Glazing: Execution of curtain wall systems and storefront glazing, ensuring thermal efficiency and acoustic isolation for the commercial interiors.
  • Architectural Metalworks: Installation of external louvers, canopies, and metal architectural features that serve both aesthetic and solar shading functions.

 

Landscape and Hardscape

Execution Ramz Kayan managed the civil works required to unify the external environment.

  • Site Grading and Paving: Preparation of sub-base and installation of large-format pavers for plazas, walkways, and pedestrian corridors.
  • Softscaping Integration: Coordination of planting zones, irrigation systems, and green pockets within the hardscape design.
  • External Lighting & Street Furniture: Installation of bollards, integrated lighting fixtures, and fixed site furniture to ensure operational safety and functionality in outdoor common areas.
