One of Riyadh’s most prominent destinations

Located within one of Riyadh’s most prominent destinations, the Laysen Valley Mosque stands as a symbol of elegance and modern Islamic architecture. Our scope included full interior fit-out, external cladding, glass façade works, and finishing for the mosque and its service areas.

A modern architectural landmark

The Laysen Valley Mosque is a modern architectural landmark built around a coordinated steel structure that supports its clean geometry and open interior spans. The exterior incorporates precision-installed aluminum cladding, giving the mosque a refined contemporary identity that fits naturally within the surrounding commercial district. Inside, the layout is organized to ensure clear circulation and a calm prayer environment, enhanced by controlled natural light and a balanced material palette. Decorative glass, metal detailing, and selected wooden elements are integrated to add warmth, clarity, and durability throughout the spaces.

Project Introduction

Located within the Laysen Valley commercial district, this project required the delivery of a modern religious facility characterized by steel structural elements and contemporary cladding. Ramz Kayan was responsible for the full interior fit-out, external envelope, and specialized glazing works, ensuring the structure integrated seamlessly with the surrounding commercial architecture.

Structural Envelope and Cladding

  • Steel Structure Coordination: Alignment of finishing works with the primary steel framework to maintain open interior spans and clean geometric lines.
  • Exterior Cladding: Installation of precision aluminium cladding systems, selected for durability and visual continuity with the broader Laysen Valley development.
  • Glazing Systems: Execution of high-performance glass façade works to control natural light ingress while managing thermal gain.

Interior Finishes and MEP

  • Circulation Planning: Implementation of a floor plan designed for high-volume pedestrian flow, utilizing durable flooring materials and clear spatial zoning.
  • Material Integration: Application of a balanced material palette featuring decorative metal detailing and wood accents, installed to strict QA/QC standards to ensure longevity in a high-traffic public space.
